Object Name Caster
Description A) Silver plated circular six bottle condiment stand. Bottle holder has high pierced handle, wide decorative stamped band of birds and leaves around middle, six round holes to fit bottles in and sits on a double flared foot. Handle is cast with pierced scrolls, stylized flowers and leaves. Stamped on bottom "2160" . Meridan Company logo stamped on top face of middle ring. A bell is mounted in the crossbar of the divided handle., stamped on top of knop "Ratcliffe's Pat. Aug. (illeg.)".
B) Detachable decorative cast clapper with soldered flange pin underneath fits through hole in bell top. Six colorless glass mold-blown bottles fit in stand holes, as follows:
C) Bottle with ten-paneled base, with a frosted anthemia on each of four sides at flared mid-section, ribbed neck, narrow mouth, threaded top. 6.25" high, 2" wide. Lip chipped and missing half of top thread ring.
D) Bottle with ten-paneled base, with a frosted anthemia on each of four sides at flared mid-section, ribbed neck, narrow mouth, threaded top. 6.25" high, 2" wide. Lip chipped. Has a silver threaded top
(E) of spun or stamped silver. Neck incised with three decorative rings, top pierced with sixteen holes.
(F) Bottle with ten-paneled base, with a frosted anthemia on each of four sides at flared mid-section, wide mouth with attached silver hinged, domed lid with flared finial. Bottom chipped. 5.5" high, 2.25" wide.
G) Bottle with cut&polished irregular ovals around base, flared mid-section and neck, copper-wheel engraved bell flower motif encircling shoulder. 7" high, 2.5" wide. Fitted with silver threaded collar to hold (H) screw-off lid with twelve pierced holes and finial top.
(I) Bottle with ten-paneled base below a flared mid-section with encircling molded shields motif, six-paneled neck, 6.5" high, 2.25"wide, narrow threaded rim for
(J) threaded silver cap, domed with ten pierced holes.
K) Bottle with cut&polished irregular ovals around base, flared mid-section and neck, copper-wheel engraved bell flower motif encircling shoulder. Flared lip with 1" wide and 2.25" long chip running down neck. 7" high, 2.25 " wide. All silver elements very tarnished.
