2. "Sweetwater, January 5, 1875, to My Dear Friend, Mrs. Hill" from
M.W. Herskell, written on both sides of paper, family news.
3. "March 12, 1841, Dear Brother and Sister", from Rhoda Smith, another from Chloe Stright, one from John Stright and one unsigned, all letters on the same sheet, written on both sides, the address being on one fold, "Anderson Town, Madison County, Indiana, to Daniel Freeman Stright, May 29, 1841, Culbertson, Pa. 25 (postage).
